Introducing John Rodriquez –
Founder & Managing Director of The Infinite Well
Who am I?

I am a nationally accredited mediator and facilitator who is passionate about peacebuilding, coaching leaders to create psychologically safe workplaces and helping individuals and groups to optimise their creativity (especially when they don’t believe they have any!)
I help organisations transform workplace conflict into opportunities for genuine connection and sustainable growth. My work sits at the intersection of conflict resolution and human wellbeing – a combination that addresses not just the symptoms of workplace tension, but the underlying patterns of stress, disconnection, and communication breakdown that fuel ongoing challenges.
My Approach
I bring calm, emotionally intelligent facilitation to complex workplace situations, grounded in deep listening, principled neutrality, and creating psychologically safe spaces where authentic resolution can emerge. Drawing on decades of experience in corporate wellbeing, mindfulness practices, and organisational development, I work with the whole system – not just the presenting problem.
What makes my mediation practice distinctive is understanding how stress, burnout, and relational disconnection contribute to conflict. This insight allows me to help clients not only resolve immediate disputes but also rebuild trust, establish healthier communication patterns, and develop the emotional resilience necessary for long-term success.
Working Together
Through The Infinite Well’s three service areas – Conflict Resolution, Workplace Resilience, and Creative Growth – I collaborate with HR teams, business leaders, and employees to navigate interpersonal challenges, strengthen workplace cultures, and build capacity for sustainable performance.
Whether you need a mediator who brings systems thinking and emotional intelligence to complex disputes, or you’re looking to proactively strengthen your team’s resilience and connection, I’d welcome a conversation about how I can support your organisation.
I am based in Australia and available nationally through online facilitation.

As I have traveled on my journey through life, I have tried many things to help me grow to be the best version of myself and to keep mentally fit. What I found, was that no one particular program, concept or approach delivered the goods. I thought each one was great at the time, but found myself searching for more. This took me on a path of exploration where I have come to learn that the best results can be achieved by combining elements of all of them, mixing, matching and blending as needed.
This led me to acquire a broad range of tools in my toolkit and develop a broad range of skills. This way I can make sure that we choose the most effective combination to meet your specific needs. You will have a high level of control over your process.
PS…For those who want to know about my credentials, I have 37 years experience in HR and am formally trained and certified in the following:

Why do I have so many interests and creative pursuits?
I am a multipotentialite – a person who has many different interests and creative pursuits in life. Multipotentialites have no “one true calling” the way specialists do. Being a multipotentialite is our destiny. We have many paths and we pursue all of them, either sequentially or simultaneously (or both). As soon as I realised this, my life suddenly made sense! I then discovered a way to combine all of these interests and pursuits under one umbrella, called The Infinite Well
If you want to learn more about multipotentialites, check out Emilie Wapnick at her website https://puttylike.com/ because it was her insight that opened up this new world for me.
Why is this business called The Infinite Well?
Everything I do here is about improving the wellbeing of others, be it individually, corporately, or in community and this brings new levels of joy. There are so many ways people can improve their wellbeing through effective conflict resolution, working in safe workplaces that don’t have a detrimental impact on their mental health, and learning how to tune in to their own creative spark.
Using a range of different skills is like tapping into different wells to draw water, as I work with people to give them access to these different wells. As I learn new skills to include in by service offerings, I get to sink new wells to draw from. The possibilities are endless…hence the birth of “The Infinite Well.” As people continue to search for new ways to improve their wellbeing and set new benchmarks for themselves, they too, are in search of the infinite well!
